Drip irrigation is a system of irrigation in which the irrigation water drips into the roots of the plant, either from a dropper above the surface or buried below the surface. The goal is to place water directly into the roots and minimize evaporation. Drip irrigation systems distribute water through a network of pipes, tubes, and water emitters. Depending on various factors, a drip irrigation system can be more efficient than other types of irrigation systems, such as surface irrigation or sprinkler irrigation. According to statistics, greenhouses that used the drip irrigation method saw a 12% growth in crop growth and a 75% decrease in water prices compared to other types of irrigation. This, therefore, leads to a decrease in crop prices and a higher amount of competition within the agricultural market. This ultimately leads to lower prices for consumers and a free-er marketplace. 'Ele Manunui, the research representative for Saipipulu Technology, stated that-

Iukekini Kaimi, the Keymon Minister of Defense, stated that: This purchase cost, according to the Ministry of Defense, 5 billion pounds. This has sparked criticism from financially Conservative individuals who have actively condemned the purchase. Some have called into question as to why Sekowan weaponry was bought, instead of using domestically made equipment. Whilst others question the need for a defense force at all. However, one thing is for certain: this arms deal is one of the biggest in Keymonite history.

The announcement comes as Iokua begins to expand its holdings in vital economic areas like Mordusia. However, according to financial experts, the bank has begun to be seriously challenged in the domestic market by banks focusing on certain provinces. This has led to Iokua holding smaller and smaller stakes in the domestic market. In an attempt to regain it’s momentum and stakes in the domestic market, the Board of Directors and CEO came to an agreement to begin offering mortgages. A mortgage is a debt instrument, secured by the collateral of specified real estate property, that the borrower is obliged to pay back with a predetermined set of payments. Mortgages are used by individuals and businesses to make large real estate purchases without paying the entire purchase price up front. Over many years, the borrower repays the loan, plus interest, until he or she completely owns the property. Iokua has begun to offer these mortgages under the classification of adjustable-rate mortgages (ARM’s). ARM’s are a type of mortgage in which the interest rate for any debt is fixed for an initial term, after which it fluctuates based on market interest rates. When asked why they decided to provide mortgages and why those mortgages would be ARM’s, CEO Kamamalu Iokua stated that: According to financial experts, this move to provide mortgages will see an overall positive effect on the economy. The reasoning for this is the fact that with mortgages, people can buy property to open businesses. These businesses provide jobs and tax dollars, which can further assist the communities they reside in. This ultimately benefits the community, the government, and the employer much more than if mortgages provided by Iokua were limited or non-existent. Whilst other banks have offered mortgages for decades, they were always in limited amounts due to there small size. However, now that Iokua offers mortgages, other banks must now find ways to deal with this or go bankrupt. Already, several banks have gone bankrupt and have been absorbed into other banks. Overall whilst this change in policy by Iokua may harm small banks, it will benefit the average Keymon greatly and will lead to lower prices and more competition.

The flash drive, named the Saipipulu Technology Pro 500 GB Flash Drive or SP Pro 500, will weigh approximately 60 grams and be “pocket-sized” and “small enough to fit on a keychain”. The reasoning for the large amount of storage space, is the necessity for large businesses to have such large data. According to one board member, who was present at the shareholders meeting, the SP Pro 500 will- Sentiments concerning the SP Pro 500 have been mixed. Some say it’s a revolutionary advancement for Saipipulu Technology, which will assist the company greatly in it’s future plans. However others claim that the SP Pro 500, starting at 45 $ per flash drive, is overly expensive and is less useful then smaller flash drives. Other tech companies have leveled criticism against Saipipulu for “stealing” the idea of a 500 gigabyte flash drive. However, there has been praise as well. Some have called this a great advancement towards decreasing paper usage in business, and therefore costing companies overall less. Others also see the pros of having this hard drive for recreational, rather than commercial, reasons. However, all can agree on one thing: Saipipulu Technology is not straying away from making computer parts anytime soon.

Not only this, but that Iokua would continuously give Alianze Verde 20 million pounds annually, for five years. In a public statement on the matter, Iokua CEO Kamamalu Iokua stated that: Whilst the motive behind this is unknown, Iokua has been expanding rapidly in the Mordusian financial market. This has been mainly due to the lack of expansion elsewhere and the failure of financial investment into Kalistan. Those previous examples led to the current expansion into Mordusia, but also consolidation of it’s financial monopoly in Keymon. This has been seen in Iokua’s recent decision to begin offering mortgages. The financial markets have, as expected by a majority of financial analysts, taken a sharp upswing in the favor of both Iokua and Alianza Verde. Iokua stock has once again jumped from 103 pounds per share to 106 pounds, whilst Alianza Verde has seen a wave of investors flood it’s corporation headquarters phone line. However, some financial analysts have questioned the sustainability of Iokua’s loans. Many claim these loans will cause Iokua’s reserves to reach critical lows, and may lead to the collapse of the bank and, therefore, the banking sector of Keymon. These claims are backed up by the Iokua Annual Report for 2025, which states they’re holding around 1 billion pounds in reserve. This is in a stark contrast to the estimated 25 billion pounds in loans they gave out in 2025. However, a rush on the banks is highly unlikely and even less likely is a financial crisis. A financial crisis is highly unlikely in a climate of growing economies such as this one. However, we cannot firmly predict this.

Māleke has already expanded its distribution centers throughout the province of Ka’aukal, with there being 3 distribution centers in the province. These distributions centers have the main job of fulfilling orders, which are then processed and fulfilled to the end consumers. Māleke is, and has been, the largest e-commerce organization in Keymon. However, Māleke has been stuck within the Turtle Bay Area. Yet, with this move, they could move into other areas of Keymon and expand there e-commerce monopoly. Māleke intends to build a single distribution center in Konane, that would create an estimated 1,000 jobs. When asked why they wished to expand, Māleke CEO Nicholas Lawson stated that: With the announcement of the new distribution center, stocks in Māleke have shot upwards and orders on the site have as well. What else that has shot up is the decrease in competition. As other e-commerce sites start faltering in there ever shrinking market shares, Māleke expands eastwardly. Financial experts have estimated that, if no reasonable competition arises in the near future to combat them, Māleke will be the dominant e-commerce site for all of Keymon.

The parade began with Prime Minister Makaio making a speech praising the hard work of not only the designers, testers, and engineers of the weapons, but the Keymonite people for continuously believing in the project- As the Prime Minister’s speech ended, a line of men belonging to the SSG appeared. They were dressed in combat fatigues, wearing a red beret. They marched down the street in a unison pattern. In there hands, was the M16 Rifle with a bayonet attached. As they finished there march, several units of men began to march forward in unison. In the first two units hands, they held the Howa Type 89 Assault Rifle. The next two units held the M4 Carbine. The other two units held the Mossburg 500 shotgun. Finally, the last unit in the line held the M249 LMG in there hands. As they began to pass over the horizon, a large trumpet was heard. As civilians on the sidelines turned to look, they saw sixteen rows of men, all carrying either the Howa Type 96grenade launcher, the M60 machine gun, the Mk19 Grenade Launcher, the Sumitomo NTL 62 machine gun, and the SMAW anti-tank launcher. They marched forward, as another line of around 50 men moved forward. In there hands they held either the M24 Sniper Rifle, the M107 Anti-Material Rifle, or the M38 DMR. Those 59 men where part of the marksman unit, a unit of extremely talented marksman tasked with bumpers tasks all involving the usage of a scoped rifle. After the marksmen marched, the Turtle Bay Police marched forward in there ceremonial uniforms. In there hands where the Minebea PM-9 Machine Pistol, the M1911 Pistol, the SIG MPX Submachine gun, and the M26 MASS shotgun. They also carried grenade launchers that were loaded with tear gas and smoke grenades. After the police marched forward, the last unit made there way past. This unit was simply made up of 15 ceremonial horsemen, who had three carts hooked up to there steeds. The first cart had the M2 Browning Heavy Machine gun, the second the M224 Mortar, and the last had the FGM 148 Javelin. The PM then came on stage to announce that in two minutes, the military vehicles would be paraded. After two minutes of excitement, they came down the street. The newly developed vehicles, which have taken well over 2 years to fully develop, were shown off last as a final triumphant announcement of Keymon ingenuity. The first vehicle shown off was the HMMWV, a simple utility vehicle used by troops to move between bases. The next vehicle was the HEMTT Truck, which is a utility truck designed to move materials between different areas. The crowd had started to fall asleep, when the crack of an artillery shell rang out. As a HMMWV made its way down the street, the M119 Howitzer dispensed it’s rounds into the sky. Whilst they were merely blanks, the power of the weapon shocked onlookers. After the Howitzer had it’s day in the sun, the TWQ-1 Akamu (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN/TWQ-1_Avenger) made its way down the avenue. This anti-air Vehicle, which uses the FIM-92E missile, can lock onto targets 443 kilometers away and will mainly be used as a defensive tool against low flying aircraft. The TWQ-1 Akamu fired several blank rounds, to show off the speed at which it could fire its rockets. After the Akamu, the Sachihiro APC (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M113_armored_personnel_carrier#Operators) began it’s way down the road. However inside the APC where actual soldiers who, once the APC made it halfway down the road, lowered the bridge and marched out in full gear. They then marched back into the APC, which continued down the road. The next up was the Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle or AIFV. As it made its way down the road, it showed off its 25-mm KBA-B02 cannon and it’s several machine guns. As the AIFV was firing off blanks, the crowd stared in amazement at both the size and power of the vehicle. However, the most anticipated item was last in store. After much fan fare, the people finally saw the nation’s new Main Battle Tank. As the M60 Palakiko (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M60_Patton) charged forward, cheers and applause rang throughout the city. The proud crew inside the tank must’ve been smiling as they loaded the blank shell into the cannon. As soon as they fired, the crowd cheered even more and began to chant patriotic slogans. As that M60 drove into the sunset, it let off one last shell as a final goodbye. After around 3 and a half hours of excitement, the parade was over and the people began to leave. Whilst there has been no response internationally to this parade, the Labour Party has condemned it as “imperialistic and inappropriate”. The cost of the parade has also drawn the ire of several groups. The parade cost taxpayers 15 million pounds, which mainly paid for food and drinks.

Jonathan Mcdonald, the CEO of Ka’aukai Coal, has stated that the money given to Prime Minister Makaio was simply a birthday present, as both men are reportedly good friends. However, the Labour Party has asserted that any substantial of money given between two influential people is considered a political donation. Therefore, according to the Labour Party, Prime Minister Makaio should’ve reported this 750,000 pound “gift” to the Finance Ministry as a political donation. However, Prime Mimister Makaio disputes this idea and asserts that a gift with no political motivation shouldn’t be reported to the Finance Ministry. He is quoted as saying this to the press: Protests have already begun in Turtle Bay, with an estimated 25,000 protesting throughout the city. The protests where organized by several organization that are known for being allies of the Labour Party. One group, known as the ‘People’s Liberation Organization’, has had all of its planned protests turn violent. These violent protests, which took place in Halawa, where quickly shut down by riot police. Contrary to the Halawa protests, protests in Māhele Aupuni, Port Bradley, and Kaaipuaa have been relatively peaceful. The only large police force seen in these areas where in Māhele Aupuni, which had the sole task of setting up a defensive ring around major government buildings. The Labour Party has already proposed a bill that would impeach Prime Minister Makaio for “illegal conduct and violations of campaign finance laws”. The bill has been scrutinized in Parliament, especially by members of the PKU. The bill is unlikely to be passed by the PKU majority parliament, if it ever goes to a vote. The Labour Party has also called on the Finance Ministry to begin an investigation into the affair, and come out with a verdict. The Finance ministry refused to confirm or deny that it had begun an investigation into Prime Minister Makaio. Scrutiny of the claims made by the Labour Party have already begun coming from members of right wing parties. One Keymonite wrote on a social media platform that: That same sentiment has been thoroughly echoed by conservative voices throughout the nation. Some are calling this fiasco a “politically driven move”, as elections are merely a year away and campaigning has already begun. However, this claim can not be corroborated.

The Alcaria Agreement is an economic agreement concerning free trade between 6 member states of the agreeemyn, those being Luthori, Keymon, Sekowo, Darnussia, Likatonia, and Mordusia. Whilst the 5 other member states have already ratified the agreement, Keymon has been stuck in a partisan struggle concerning the agreement. The Labour Party and PKU have been in negotiations on the agreements impact on the economy and the workers of Keymon. The main issues arose from the free trade aspect of the agreement. The Labour Party held the position that removing tariffs on things such as coal and obsidian would harm Keymonite workers and wished to set up tariffs on said resources. However, the PKU and it’s coalition allies stated that they would rather have free trade within the free trade zone, as to not only lower prices of certain goods but to motivated competition. These debates morphed into largest and larger political discussions within the parliament. After nearly a year of discussion, the Speaker of Parliament made a motion to postpone these discussions until 2026 when ratifications of the treaty would begin internationally. However, once 2026 arrived, debate floated up once more. The Labour Party and PKU kept there opinions the same and continued the debate fiercely. However, only three days ago, several members of the Labour Party announced they would vote in favor of the Alcaria Agreement with the PKU. When the Parliament met earlier today, the ratification bill passed by a 71% percent margin of victory. The passing of this agreement saw an immediate effect on the markets. Coal and obsidian mining stocks went down around 0.7%, in fear of growing competition domestically. However, financial and technological stocks saw a 1.7% increase, as more and free-we trade requires financial and technological modernization and capacities. Economists stated that, whilst the markets and economy would be hurt temporarily as more foreign competition emerges, the economy would overall see a major boost and see quality of life increase as well. Madalynn Bright, Head of the Labour Party, stated that she will attempt to pass regulations to better the financial impacts immediately after the ratification of the Alcaria Agreement. Yet with elections set to take place in only 3 months, the political results of the ratification of the Alcaria Agreement are yet to be seen or known.

The claims stem from a 750,000 pound “birthday gift” Makaio revived from Ka’aukai Coal CEO Jonathan Mcdonald, which both parties acknowledge occurred. However, neither party recognizes this “gift” as a political donation, and instead they claim that it was merely a non-political birthday present between two mutual friends. However, this claim came under the scrutiny of the Labour Party, who requested the Ministry of Justice investigate the matter. The Ministry of Justice made the announcement today in an official written message delivered to the Parliament, Prime Minister and his cabinet, and to the press. It states that- The political response was instant, with many in the Labour Party calling for the impeachment proposal to be re-presented to the parliament for discussion. On the opposite side of the isle, members of the PKU proclaimed this investigation as politically motivated and biased against the prime minister. The Prime Minister has not made an official response on the issue, nor has Jonathan Mcdonald. Public opinion has turned extremely negative against the prime minister, with many in the public questioning his honesty and his loyalty to the nation. With elections only 27 days away, we must wait to see the results of not only the election of the Prime Minister, but also that of the parliament.

The election results have shocked both the PKU and Labour Party, as the Libertarian Party and Socialist Party of Keymon or SPK have taken 12 and 8 seats respectively. These parties have taken these seats from the PKU, who lost 15 of there 40 seats in parliament, bringing them down to 25 seats. The Labour Party gained 2 seats from the PKU, which has been considered a victory by the parties leadership. However, the Labour Party triumphed even further in the elections for Prime Minister. They won 53% of the vote for there candidate and president, Madelyn Bright, who ran on a platform of expansion of current welfare programs and the creation of new welfare programs. She also ran on the platform of expansion of infrastructure, including the creation of a high speed rail network across Keymon and the continued expansion of Keymon’s rural road systems. However, when asked about raising she stated that she would not raise taxes and that she would break the PKU’s tradition of keeping a budget surplus. In Parliament, the PKU has lost its majority control and its ability to push through its conservative agenda. However, the PKU has announced a coalition with the Libertarian Party to form a coalition cabinet and parliamentary voting bloc. The combined Libertarian/PKU seat count of 37 barley gets them above the 50% line, which is the amount of members required to vote in a cabinet proposal. According to insider sources in both parties, a cabinet coalition is already being put together. The SPK gained 8 seats, which the parties leadership has described as a- . This is the first election the SPK has been involved in, as they split from the Labour Party two years ago. The SPK is a party that has mainly communists, socialists, and anarcho-communists in its ranks, who have mainly voted for the Labour Party in the past. However, the Labour Party and SPK have officially announced that they are forming a voting bloc to combat the Libertarian/PKU bloc. Political analysts have given numerous explanations for the major losses for the PKU in this election. However, the most widely accepted explanation is a combination of the Makaio Campaign Finance Controversy, Controversies Over Involvement in Cildania, and the Increased Influence of the Youth “Counter-Culture”. The “Counter-Culture” is mainly focused around anti-authority beliefs and acts, mainly centering around personal authority figures and disagreeing with there views. This, according to a majority of analysts, has led to the increase in support of the SPK and the Libertarian Party. Former Prime Minister Makaio has already officially left office, and has announced he will lead talks concerning a cabinet coalition. Prime Minsiter Bright will be sworn in on the 30th of this month.

This cabinet proposal was passed with unilateral support from both parties, but was met with unilateral condemnation from the SPK and the Labour Party. The cabinet proposal sees the PKU take control of the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Native Affairs, Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Health, and Attorney-General. The Libertarian Party received the positions of Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Education, Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Justice. The Head of the Libertarian Party and the Head of the PKU made a public announcement of the cabinet proposal to the press, where they also announced there ministries policies. The Libertarian Party promised to introduce easier access to charter schools, more financial responsible decisions, fewer agricultural subsidies, and an investigation into the effects of legality of marijuana, for both medicinal and recreational purposes. The PKU announced policies of continued acquisition of military equipment, the beginning of an investigation into medicinal marijuana, continued membership within the Alcaria Agreement, continued military support of Qendaria, and continued cordial relations with Luthori, Lodamun, and Mordusia. This elicited mixed reactions from the crowd, ranging from cheers to boos. The reactions from the Labour Party and SPK to this announcement has been been heated. This product has been produced in large part due to the hard drive program at Saipipulu Technology, which has already led the company to begin mass producing external hard drives which has led to Saipipulu’s domination of the Keymon external hard drive market. With the knowledge concerning external hard drives mastered by the researchers at Saipipulu Technology, the company was able to make the logical leap into the internal hard drive market. We where able to question the Head of Research and Development at Saipipulu Technology and where able to question him on the difficulties of developing this internal hard drive. He stated that When asked why Saipipulu Technology would suddenly enter the internal hard drive market, after they had already created a substantial space for themselves in the external hard drive market in Keymon, CEO Iolani Akela stated that: The reviews for the ST Rapture Blue have been overwhelming positive, with a majority of online reviews stating that the hard drive worked much better than there current one and that the ST Rapture Blue was able to outperform all other internal hard drives on the market.

CEO Kamamalu Iokua of Iokua Banking made the announcement shortly before a Board of Directors meeting to discuss the large exchange of capital and the value the stocks have to Iokua. He stated that- CEO Nicholas Lawson of Māleke also made a public statement before founding to discuss the transfer of stocks with his Board of Directors. He stated that- The markets have reacted favorably to this news, as both Māleke and Iokua stocks have seen steep price increase as demand for both companies stocks have increased. Māleke stock prices have jumped by 4.5%, whilst Iokua stock has jumped 3.4%. Financial analysts have noted that whilst Iokua has bought stock in numerous companies, they never purchase a controlling stake of the company and always sell the stocks back when the stock prices increase. This has given financial analyst the reasonable confidence to state that both parties will keep there ends of the agreement. Concerning this new injection of capital, financial analysts note that whilst this could be risky if done to an extent where it is no longer rare, the current projection of Māleke stocks seem to show beneficial conditions and predicted results.

The announcement is a major jolt to economic analysts, as Māleke has mainly built distribution centers in western Keymon. However with the announcement of the building of 10 more distribution centers located mainly in eastern Keymon, Māleke has secured its hold onto the entire nations e-commerce sector. Now, the average Keymonite can receive a package from Māleke in 1-2 days. This speed has given them an edge over there competition, who usually take 6-7 days to have a package reach a customer. Māleke also has another advantage over its competitors. The company has signed agreements with private postage companies to give discounts on shipping Māleke packages. This makes Māleke purchased products far cheaper than any of the companies competitors. Māleke’s main competitor in eastern Keymon, the East Keymon Commerce Company or EKCC, has just been purchased by Māleke for 3.8 billion pounds. Now, Māleke holds a near monopoly on e-commerce in Keymon and is flexing it’s new found power by announcing a major promotion. Māleke recently announced the Māleke Prime Program, where people can pay 15 pounds a month to receive packages with no shipping and handling costs and packages come in a day. The Māleke Prime Program is, according to financial analysts, a way for Māleke to reassert there dominance throughout Keymon. According to the professor of financial affairs at Turtle Bay College: Māleke CEO Nicholas Lawson held a press conference where he discussed the companies new found expansion and the companies purchase of the East Keymon Commerce Company. The companies stock price has gone up 9.5%, which is the highest the stocks for the company have ever gotten.

The bill, which passed with unilateral support from all 4 parties, had to go through several redrafts before an agreement could be reached that pleasured all 4 parties. The agreement was originally proposed by the SPK, which included a substantially higher budget of 20 billion pounds and the creation of a high speed railway across Keymon. The Labour Party then proposed a much smaller version of the proposal, after negotiations with the SPK. The Labour Party proposal had a budget of 10 billion pounds and the creation of a high speed railway connecting only Turtle Bay, Leighstown, and Saipipulu. Finally, negotiations between both voting blocs began last month. The negotiations took major parts of the agreement out, with the high speed railway being the main remova from the final agreement. The budget also took a hit, with it being reduced to 4 billion pounds. Apparently, the budget decrease was due to the Libertarians Parties demand that the costs not go over 5 billion, as to keep a budget surplus. This major cut in funding forced the complete removal of the high speed railway in any way, shape, or form. The number of projects has also been reduced, with only major projects that where deemed “in vital interest” being approved in the final agreement. These vital programs included the repaving of 40% of all of Keymon’s interstate highways, the construction of several bridges that directly connect Saipipulu to Turtle Bay, and the expansion of the interstate highways. Public perception has been mixed and has already become partisan. Opinions from the members of the Labour Party, Libertarian Party, and PKU generally accept this as an example of compromise in an extremely partisan government. However SPK members have condemned the “stubbornness” of the Libertarian Party and PKU, when it comes to budget deficits. The SPK has had several of its proposed laws be shot down and that has shown a noticeable effect on the parties leaders and members, who have seemed to get more restless. The economic impacts of this infrastructure project is yet unknown, but the government states that the economic impacts would be overwhelmingly positive with even higher numbers of tourism and travel to Keymon.

These purchases comes only months after the airlines founding, making it among the fastest acquisitions of aircraft in the modern history of airlines. Some have credited this to the help received from the Keymon government in approving airline purchases to the airline in an exceptionally fast time. When question on the matter, the Head of Infrastructure refused questioning. The company has posted the flight plans and the number of times they will be flown every day. According to the companies flight plans, Likatonia will be the busiest direct destination for KeymonAir flights, with the nation having four flights land in the capital. However, the Likatonia flights connect to an even larger network of flights. Three of the four Likatonia’s flights will land in Likatonia, drop off and pick up passengers, refuel, and then fly directly to Mordusia. Those three flights are on top of the three Boing 757’s, which will all fly non-stop to Mordusia. According to the company, all Mordusian flights will occur once every day and the one Likatonian flight, that doesn’t go to Mordusia after reaching the Likatonian capital, will fly three times a day back and fourth between Keymon and Likatonia. The company also announced they will fly two flights between Keymon and Luthori twice a day. The company also made a controversial announcement alongside these flight plans. The company will fly a single Boing 737 MAX to the Beluzian capital of Cirrane once every day. This has sparked outrage amongst some groups, as Beluzia is still a totalitarian state, with a tyrannical government. Organizations like Democracy Watch have critiqued the companies decision as-“putting cash into a totalitarian states hand”. However, the company has defended the move stating that- Some have called for the government to block the company from flying to beluzia, however the Ministry of Infrastructure stated that they would not block the company from flying the route. However, they did issue a travel warning, warning against traveling to beluzia. KeymonAir has stated that they will continue to attempt and expand there fleet into the largest in Keymon.

The economy has slowed down drastically in less than a week, as the Keymon Pound suffers even further and the purchasing power of it starts to drop. This has led to small scale inflation, alongside market panic and the fear of an incoming economic crash. However, the government announced today that the Ministry of Finance would purchase 4.5 billion Luthorian Pounds worth of Keymon Pounds. The purchase came at the cost of the Ministry of Finances foreign currency reserve, which lost 38% of its coffers in the purchase of Keymon Pounds. A majority of the currency lost was Luthorian Pounds and Mordusian Pesos. The Minister of Finance, Deangelo Cain (Libertarian Party), held an official press conference concerning the currencies fluctuations and the government’s intervention: The markets took a major turn upwards after the Ministers speech. Overall, the stock market rebounded 23 points and a general sigh of relief has been breathed by a majority of citizens. Banks have noted that they’ve begun to receive more deposits, as citizens no longer fear a major bank rush. However, some are still debating the long term effectiveness of these measures. Politically, this is a victory for the PKU and Libertarian Party. However, the currency crisis has given both the Labour Party and SPK the chance to bash the ruling coalition as incompetent and responsible for the crisis. This has sparked debate not only between supporters of both sides, but inside the parliament as well. The debate over the responsibility for the crisis is likely to continue well into the future. However one thing is on everyone’s mind as they debate there beliefs. How does the nation prevent another currency crisis like this again?
