Dundorf towards democracyJanuary 2019
Last elections offered Dundorf and its people a new path towards democracy, being the Democrat Party (Demokratische Partei), leaded by Carl Kroeger, chosen as the ruling party. Kroeger said after the election results, "Now it's time for a real and new democracy to represent the Dundorfian population". While a majority supports Kroeger's campaign, a minority isn't happy with these results. The nation, according to Kroeger, "slowly, Dundorf will enjoy of a democratic system where everyone has a voice. There are no reasons to oppose this idea, but I can understand people being skeptic, who wouldn't be if someone told them their nation is leading towards a new democratic system?". However, many people is optimistic and confident about Kroeger's campaign, and it's only about time we see some progress towards what Kroeger calls a "new democracy". While the Democrats win the SWP for 48 seats, the Socialists may be a threat for the Democrats. Breaking with the monarchyMarch 2019
Carl Kroeger called for a meeting between all the parties in the Parliament to discuss the removal of the past monarchy's institutions and laws. Starting with the demolition of the Royal House (Königliches Haus) and the further renovation of the current law made during the monarchy, which hasn't been reformed since then. Kroeger suggested a change in the government's system and structure by giving the Parliament more power than the President. By the end of the meeting, they've acknowledged the following reforms to be made by the following months: - The Parliament should be allowed to vote, discuss and propose laws of all kind. The President's role must be used for diplomatic issues, break ties in votes and in emergencies.
- A cabinet must be made. The parties that will be in the cabinet and the departments each one'll have must be decided yet.
- Citizens may have the right of speech, of being treated equally and with respect and being responsible for their own lives; the government won't interfere in personal issues unless it breaks the national law.
- Provinces may have enough autonomy, and the national government shouldn't interfere in all laws and issues that affect the Province.
- Labour unions must come back to protect the workers' rights, but may not act freely, or else the government is allowed to close the labour union.
- Taxes must be reduced (to be discussed).
- Basic necessities should be allowed to and free for everyone, such as health, education and transport.
- The education system must be reformed. Teachers should start sharing democratic values and promoting individualism, as well as cooperation.
These laws are to be proposed and prepared for this year and the following year. The Parliament has agreed in first preparing a reform in the Parliament, the cabinet, taxes and granting everyone the right of basic necessities. All these should be reformed by this year, as they're listed as priorities. Carl Kroeger seems to be seriously interested in transforming Dundorf into a democracy, and seems to be working hard for this to be done. While the Socialists agree in many issues proposed by the Democrats, the Conservatives seem to be looking for the restoration of the monarchy under a democratic system, which both the Democrats and Socialists agree in thinking "that's a contradiction".

Media goes against the ConservativesMarch 2019
The Conservative Party has been useful for the nation after the collapse of the Dundorfian Reich in 1948, but after 70 years ruling the nation, the Democrat Party challenges the Conservative Party by winning the elections. Soon after the formation of a conservative nation, the Conservative Party's leader from that times, Heinrich Weisz, publicly said that " it's important for Dundorf to recover and it's not going to recover with another king. We must change of plans and support democracy, even if that means we won't be in control of the nation". Due to Weisz's national reputation, no one (publicly) opposed his ideas. However, it's been almost a century since Weisz started ruling the nation, and only after the Democrat Party and Carl Kroeger been elected Dundorf seems to be moving into a democratic system. Now that the Conservatives see they've lost the key reason why they've been successful all this time, challenged by another party, Edmund Kuttner, the leader of the Conservative Party, said soon after the elections, " We've always supported the monarchy, we want a monarchy, but we also want a democratic system. We're not democrats, we're better than democrats, we believe in the strength and sovereignety of Dundorf, we believe in what made us the most powerful kingdom from northern Artania". The Conservative Party is classified as a center-right conservative and monarchist party, but in the past it was classified as a centrist democratic party. The speech by Kuttner didn't improve their reputation, instead, a great amount of the population seems to go against the Conservatives. This is surprising, considering a great amount of the population seems to support the restore of the Dundorfian Reich. According to statistics made the past year to the Dundorfian population between the ages 18 and 74, the results are clear: But then, why isn't there enough support for the Conservative Party if they claim to be monarchists? Political parties, as well as the media, consider that the Conservatives' ideology is nonsense and won't be able to restore the Dundorfian Reich, as they seem to support a "democratic monarchy". Günter Heydrich was invited to the Dundorf Today (Dundorf Heute) television show soon after the elections to discuss its results. Heydrich said he wouldn't ever support the Conservative Party because "in 70 years of conservative rule, no ideological side has been benefited from the rule of the conservatives. No democracy in 70 years, no monarchy in 70 years, no socialism in 70 years; absolutely nothing in 70 years. Why support them back again?".
However, the lack of support for the Conservative Party doesn't mean a lack of support for the restoration of the monarchy. An anonymous monarchy supporter explained that "the Dundorfian Reich was powerful; politically, economically and militarily. With a democracy, all these qualities of our great nation are going to be just a memory, and I don't want that to happen. That's why I support the restoration of the monarchy, I don't care about progression as long as I can live in a stable and powerful nation, that's all I ask for, and the Democrats and Socialists are all against what I ask for". However, it's still soon for anything to happen and the nation has been calmed since the collapse of the Reich, and with the progression of democracy in the nation, the future looks brighter for many Dundorfians.

Democracy is officially the new slogan for DundorfJanuary 2021
It's been two years since the Parliament promised a transition to a democratic system. So far, many of the promises from Carl Kroeger have been achieved already. These include: - A law that guarantees basic rights, including free speech, equality and privacy rights.
- Allowing provinces to have some more autonomy from the national government.
- Labour unions have been allowed, and there's currently only one working.
- Health and education institutions are allowed for anyone for no cost.
- The education system has been somewhat reformed, though it's still in development.
Democracy seems to be finally established in Dundorf, which has calmed down people's worries and political insecurities. This may cause an incredible increase in seats for the Democrat Party.

Election results of 2023January 2023
Elections were held a few days ago, and the results have already been showed. These elections showed an increase in democracy and an extreme decrease in the Conservative Party. However, it looks like Monarchists are voting for the Democrat Party because it's the party that most suits their interests, seeing the Conservative Party as hypocrite and not doing anything. After the results of this elections, a group of monarchists have been trying to install a new monarchist party to restablish the Dundorfian Reich in modern times. There's a probability of a new party being installed in the next months to attack the democracy Kroeger's been fighting for. However, Kroeger has won elections for the second time and seems to be taking advantage in the Parliament and progressing with democracy.Party | Leader | Seats | Democrat Party Demokratische Partei | Carl Kroeger | 196 | Socialist Workers Party Sozialistisch Arbeiterpartei

The Government approves the formation of a new monarchist partyJanuary 2024
The Conservative Party has been a disappointment for the monarchist population, which according to recent polls concludes in a 46% of monarchist supporters (90,746,652 out of 197,275,331), for its publicly declared support to a "democratic monarchy". According to many monarchists, who want to recover the Dundorfian Reich, a "democratic monarchy" isn't only absurd, but it won't recover the Reich. As an answer to this, a monarchist movement called the Movement For Glory (Bewegung Für Ruhm) was created in February 2021. In the past elections, the MFG requested a creation of a new monarchist party, and a year later, this request has been approved by the Government. While the monarchist population looks happy, the rest looks with disgust at this decision took by a supposedly democratic government when, as many people say, "they don't even reach a majority" and "are anti-democratic". However, the 2027-J elections is probably going to mark a change for the Parliament and the progression of democracy. The president, Carl Kroeger, doesn't look insecure and he says that he will do as much as he can to make sure the monarchists won't win next elections. Meanwhile, the Democrats are planning an alliance with the Socialists in case the monarchists get enough support to win elections. Some protests, mainly started by socialists, have been produced all around the nation against the approval of the MFG as a new political party. In the capital, where the monarchist support is higher, these protests were interrumpted by a group of monarchy supporters, leaving some protesters injured. The police arrested some of the monarchy supporters who attacked protesters.

Monarchists interfere in a public conferenceJuly 2025The national government has been making a public speech to inform about several reforms that are going to be done by this year and the next one. These reforms include reducing taxes in a way it doesn't affect the economy, applying the Civil Rights Law (Bürgerrechte Gesetz), with the purpose of increasing free press and protest rights, and reforming the international policy.
However, as Carl Kroeger started speaking about its intentions and plans, a multitude in the street started shouting while waving flags and banners promoting the monarchist ideology. The police tried to intervene in the protest, but Kroeger insisted to let them freely express themselves, which according to him it's an important part of democracy. However, the people thinks they're only letting monarchists win by allowing them to freely express themselves, and they criticise Kroeger for allowing it.

Parliamentary crisis after the unsuccessful try to reform the systemApril 2026
The Bürgerrechte Gesetz, or Civil Rights Law, was put in debate the last month. While a majority coming from the Democrats and Socialists supported the law, lots of members, from each party, showed their lack of support for the law proposal. Some Democrats said this reform would be too radical, considering that the monarchists would take advantage of it. The Socialists, however, criticised this argument coming from the Democrats, saying that it was their government who allowed the formation of a monarchist party and allowed it to participate in the elections, and interfere in the Parliament. Many Socialists went against this law because, according to some of the members, " its intention may be to benefit all the population, but will only benefit the most radical, whose opinion is not wanted". With the Conservative Party voting, all of its members, against the law, both parties got together to criticise them. " The Conservatives are a really bad joke and a serious problem for the progression of the country. Isn't it that they want a 'democratic monarchy'? Then why don't they support a democratic law that doesn't go against the monarchist ideology?" said Chris Klugman during the debate phase last month, being supported by the Democrats and its party members. Then, Kroeger raised his voice and said that " they already know that their ideology is a joke, they don't want a democratic country, not even a monarchist one. All they want is to defy every political party and stop the progression of the country, because they're Conservatives after all". These has started a conflict in the Parliament between every party. The Conservatives started criticising the opposition, saying that "the Democrats want a democratic nation, but they aren't only aware of their hypocrisy, with their government allowing the introduction of an anti-democratic party, but they're also aware that they're going really slow with their transformation into a democratic nation, and they're wasting everyone's time with useless laws and debates.", suddenly added Kuttner, " and the Socialists aren't any different, claiming to be Socialists and they're more centrists than the Democrats. What kind of socialist law have you already proposed or supported? None. You all criticise us, but have you ever taken a radiography?". Kuttner, claiming that the other parties criticise others but themselves, immediately called for a new law, based in the Bürgerrechte Gesetz, where every party's opinion on the topic is met, in order to have a balanced law that everyone is able to support. While the Democrats and Socialists support this idea, there's still a conflict between every single party in the Parliament, meaning that the Democrat-Socialist alliance might be in danger of breaking down.

Syndicalists get into action after the opening of two labour unionsMay 2030
As Kroeger promised, labour unions would be allowed and finally the Parliament has approved it with a 76% of support. The first labour union to open is the General Union of Workers (Allgemeine Gewerkschaft der Arbeiter), a social democrat union backed by the Socialist Workers Party, which has already reached a total of 51,825 members. The second labour union is the Socialist Workers Union (Sozialistische Arbeitergewerkschaft), a socialist, mainly anarchist-oriented, union which has already reached a total of 23,952 members. While the government expected to satisfy the population by opening labour unions, these labour unions protested against the government against capitalism and the democracy supported by the Democrat Party. As the SWU stated during the protest, "democracy is when everyone decides, not when a bunch of people not democratically chosen decide for us". Now the government has to deal with the royalists, and the socialists.

The Democrat Party keeps winning elections: election results 2031March 2031
The Democrat Party keeps winning elections for already 12 years, with its leader, Carl Kroeger, keeping his role of President of the Republic. Even though there's been a huge progress towards democracy, the Socialists and anarchists complain about it not being a real democracy. While the Socialists are chill trying to get their reforms made through the Parliament, the anarchists reject giving the government and Parliament a new chance and keep making protests all along the nation, making demand such as developing a more industrialised society where private property has no place. While anarchists look inoffensive and powerless at the moment, any bad movement made by the government can give more power to them. Party | Leader | Seats | Democrat Party Demokratische Partei

Dundorfian workers' General Strike plannedAugust 2040
After lots of years of the people waiting for the government to, finally, do what they promised to do, the workers are starting to feel sceptical of the current government. The 7months-old National Workers Confederation (Landesweit Arbeitskräfte Staatenbund), a communist labour union, is already planning a General Strike and demanding the government to improve the working conditions. As soon as the Democrat Party's Deputy Secretary, Kurt Martin, said "we're not going to negotiate with anyone if they keep trying to threaten us". As an answer to this, the NWC's Council has organised a new political party, the Dundorfian United Workers Party (Dundorfische Vereinigte Arbeiterpartei) and has called a national general strike for the following month if the government refuses to agree with the DUWP-NWC demands.
