SOTFRONT REELECTED
The SOTFRONT has been reelected with an increased majority, SNE lose all seats, LKP take last place, NDP and RZA neck and neck
President Snigir following exit polls at SOTFRONT HQ
ALEKSANDROVSK - The SOTFRONT have retained the mandate of the people and have grown their absolute majority in the State Duma following general elections.
The Socialists have gotten what they needed - a second term with a full majority. With polls closed, the SOTFRONT has won all Gubernias save for one, and overall gained over 50% of the national vote, giving them an absolute majority in the Duma, and most likely, and absolute majority in the State Council.
The NatsDems and RZA came in second and third respectively, both growing slightly at expense to the Liberals compared to previous local elections, with the LKP relegated to last place, further collapsing from previous local elections. The NatsYedinstvo has lost all of their seats after failing to cross the 3% threshold.
These results confirm that government policy has received strong support from the people, in particular economic policy, which has successfully dealt with the economic crisis left behind by the neoliberal economics of the preceding NDP-LKP government and the increase in social services and democracy at the workplace.
